about beta

Welcome to the alumni website for the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi at MIT. We hope you enjoy browsing our site.

We have two brownstone houses in Boston that are available to brothers of the fraternity and to graduate students. Our main house is located at 119 Bay State Road. There was a major fire at the house in January 2004. Since then, Beta Upsilon Chapter has been undergoing constant, intensive renovations.

If you are an alumnus of Beta Upsilon, we invite you to log in to the member area of our site and get reconnected to our brotherhood.

You’re Invited: Beta Upsilon’s 105th Birthday!

Mark your calendars to come to Boston for the weekend of April 27–29, 2018, for the 105th anniversary celebration of the Beta Upsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Plans are still being finalized, but will likely include an informal get together Friday evening, a banquet dinner on Saturday evening, and a brunch at the chapter house on Sunday morning.

If you attended the 100th in 2013, you know how great it was to get together with Beta brothers from all eras, renewing your Beta spirit and seeing our renovated chapter house. If you missed the Centennial in 2013, you can check out the various photo galleries. Don’t let the 105th pass you by! You’ll be glad that you joined us!

We need your help to get the word out to your contemporary chapter brothers. If you are interested in coming to the 105th and making sure other Betas from your era come too, please contact Mike Feinstein at mike_feinstein@yahoo.com. We’d like volunteers that are willing to contact their contemporary Beta brothers to encourage them to attend the 105th.

See you in Boston at the 105th!
